CANCELLATION REQUEST 

If for some reason you need to cancel your order, please let us know within 24 hours and we will do it for you.Your payment amount would be refunded to your account / card within 3-4 working days. If your request reaches us beyond 24 hours, a transaction fee of 10% of the order value would be deducted from the refund amount. 

The company reserves the right to accept or reject any order cancellation request. 

REFUNDS 

We are an artisanal brand and all our products are handmade by artisans at the very grassroots level. We make all the efforts to ensure quality standards are maintained.

On the rare occasion that you may wish to return or exchange a product, the following policies apply:-

• Kindly note, as a company policy, we do not make cash refunds. We are happy to offer you a refund in the form of a store credit or a coupon code which can be redeemed on our online store within a period of 90 days.
• Please note that any additional charges, such as COD charges or shipping fees are not reimbursed.
• International orders are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

If you have chosen COD as your mode of payment, we will need to verify / confirm your order. Our team will contact you within 24-48 working hours via Whatsapp/call/email for this and we will process the order only after confirmation is received. Why do we need to do this? This is because a majority of COD orders end up being non delivered or returned to us.

EXCHANGES

We try our best to give you all the information about our products, sizing, materials when you make your purchase. However, in the rare case that you may need to exchange a product, please note:

If you need to exchange the size, please raise a request by an email to care@abigindinanstory.com  We'll arrange the pick-up and dispatch the desired size replacement upon receiving the products at our warehouse. If, for some reason we are unable to replace your product within 5 working days, we will issue a store credit / coupon code to you with a validity of 90 days.

For exchanges, the product must be unused and in its original packaging with the product tags intact. Please ensure to ship back the order along with any gift/freebie you might have received with the pair.

**Please note that while the first exchange is free of cost, however in the case of mulitple exchanges, the shipping costs will have to be borne by the customer.

**Products bought as part of a set, combo or duo cannot be returned/ exchanged individually.

RAISE A RETURN OR EXCHANGE REQUEST 

If you need to raise a return or exchange request, please do so within 7 days of receiving your order. Please note:

• Product must be in its original condition, unused, and free from any damages.
• Product should be in the original packaging with tags intact.
• Items purchased on sale or at a discounted price are only eligible for exchange and not returns. 

RETURNS

We take utmost care in everything that we do! Quality is our top priority. 

In the rare event that you receive a wrong product, a product with a manufacturing defect, or a damaged item, then, we will replace it free of charge. We will arrange the pick-up and dispatch the replacement upon receiving the products at our warehouse. If the correct replacement isn't dispatched within 5 working days, a store credit / coupon code with a 3-month validity will be issued to you.

Most often practiced in Ajrakhpur, Kutch district, India, ajrakh is a distinctive type of block printing. Ajrakhs have evolved into a representation of Sindhi culture and customs over time. The level of geometry on the garment comes from the usage of a method of printing called woodblock printing in which prints were transferred from geometric shapes etched on the wooden blocks by pressing them hard on the fabric. Ajrakh craft products are made with natural dyes. The entire production of the products includes both vegetable dyes and mineral dyes. Indigo is a key dye. The most commonly observed pattern in Ajrak blocks and hence the fabric is dots between two lines, these dots are of same radius in almost all the design. These dots were initially carved out by hands, however later on brass nails were used to fill spaces between the two walls. This aspect is crucial in determining the expertise of the artisan. Mughal era has a deep influence on these designs. The Muslims followed a sense of strong geometry in their patterns and most patterns were formed by the interaction of two or more circles. The Ajrakh blocks were designed taking inspiration from the Muslim architectural elements that form the 'Mizan' - balance and order. The repeat patterns were determined by the grid system. Abstract symmetric representation of surrounding elements and environment were used.
